The most ambitious of our THREE DESIGN STUDIOS is focused on the appreciation and admiration of Custom Contemporary residential buildings, for the adventurous architecture fanatic at heart. Our love and fascination with structural beauty is at the core of the Cantilever House, located on and cantilevering above the historic Hollywood Reservoir in Los Angeles.

Inspired by the many movies filmed here, the Cantilever House has a sense of place and sustainability of urgency and elegance that is reflected in it’s three story design. Three different cantilevers, measuring 60 feet, 40 feet, and 20 feet, inspire a sense of freedom, strength, and daring through structural integrity and beauty.

Created as a movie buff’s dream, each level envisions a mood and story in it’s own right. The home includes art by Koko Hovaguimian, an outdoor hospitality environment with encapsulated reservoir pool, cabanas for hybrid working, two performance Poliform kitchens, living and dining spaces with Poliform furniture, private family room, screening room, and four bedrooms that all connect to the local beauty of the Hollywood Hills, Reservoir, Hollywood Sign, and Cityscape below.
